The centre is open every day throughout February 9am – 6pm including Waitangi Day. If you need to take your loved one(s) out for lunch or for coffee and a slice, the kākā café will be open from 9am – 5pm. Fridays 6, 13, 20 December 2019, Eketāhuna shops will be open until 7 . 30 pm. Shop for stocking fillers and gifts and avoid the city crowds. Lazy Grazy will also be open if you want to grab an early meal, or a hot drink and munchie to keep your energy up.
The recent working bee at the pool was a highly productive 14 people helped out getting the pool ready for opening, a total of 56 volunteer hours were worked!!
