Copper’s Corner

The majority of my time during April has been spent attending a number of vehicle crashes with attendance at two serious crashes on ANZAC Bridge. The main issue relayed to me from farmers in in the Eketahuna/Alfredton area is poachers so I have been conducting a number of patrols during my day and late shifts in the rural area and to date I haven’t come across any suspicious activity, but will keep up my patrols.

On the 14th December two calves were taken from a local Eketahuna address. Also on the 14th December, after stealing petrol from Pahiauta, a 29 year old male from Napier was involved in a pursuit and subsequently arrested and charged on a number of driving and other offences.
