Eketāhuna Health Centre Te Whare Ora O Eketāhuna November Updates

Our clinic hours
Monday to Thursday 9.00am -12.00noon, 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Friday, 9.00am – 12.00noon, 1.30pm – 2.45pm.

Please do you best to stick to these times for non-urgent health concerns.

Please start to gather any non-perishable food items that will help Te Whare Ora o Eketāhuna and Eketāhuna Foodbank provide food parcels to locals in need over Christmas. Our annual food drive also helps replenish our food bank stocks so that we can provide our food bank service throughout the year. We are in need of the following items: Jars – jams, preserves, chutneys and sauces. Dried – rice, noodles, pasta, breakfast cereals. Tinned – beans, spaghetti, meat, fish, vegetables, soup, pasta sauce, fruit. Christmas treats – chocolate biscuits, fruit syrup. Our food drive will take place on the evening of Monday 12th December with our local police and fire brigade driving vehicles around town to pick up your donations. Time TBC. If you live ruraly, you can drop off at the back of the health centre. A box will be provided from December 1st. The cost of living crisis affects us all. We are most grateful for any donation.

If you are suffering from hardship now, please call or text the food bank on 021 034 7762 and we may be able to help. If you would like to put your name forward for kai assistance at Christmas, text or call the food bank.

Please remember the budgeting services are available through Pahiatua Help-N-Hand. Kathy can help with IRD and WINZ.
