Copper’s Corner

On the 14^th December two calves were taken from a local Eketahuna address. Also on the 14^th December, after stealing petrol from Pahiauta, a 29 year old male from Napier was involved in a pursuit and subsequently arrested and charged on a number of driving and other offences.

Over January there have been three burglaries in Eketahuna. Stolen property from one burglary has been recovered and Police enquiries are continuing.

In general, Police are seeing a rise in online scams, Police encourage everyone to be vigilant of suspicious emails or phone calls that involve the release of personal information and pin codes. Investing in good online security software is a good initial step in internet safety.
