Eketāhuna Community Board May 2023 Meeting

A couple of comments from our May Meeting:
Sarah and Angela attended from the Tararua District Council to answer any questions during the meeting and some Eketāhuna residents came along. In the Public Forum part of the meeting, Jacob Holland voiced his concern over the proposed rates increase. A resolution was made to invite the Tararua District Council Mayor and some Councillors to a meeting in Eketāhuna to discuss peoples’ concerns.
The Board agreed to write a letter of support for the Eketāhuna Mellemscov Museum Committee as they look for funding to repair the building.

If anyone has any items they’d like to present please submit them in writing two weeks before a meeting so they can be added to the Agenda. You can then attend the meeting to present it.
