Eketāhuna Community Board Aug 2023 Meeting

We are meeting at Alfredton School on August 28th at 3pm to introduce the new Community Board members and to listen to local peoples’ concerns and ideas.

The Eketāhuna Community Board, Eketāhuna Our Town and a representative from the Tararua District Council will be at the Eketāhuna Super Market days in September and October to hear ideas for improving our end of the District. These ideas will be developed into a community plan which, once finished, will be available to everyone.  The Super Market days are on the second Sunday of each month.

PowerCo are holding a meeting at the Eketāhuna Rugby Club on September 12th  at 7pm to discuss how they can help in the event of a disaster.

If anyone has any items they’d like to present please submit them in writing two weeks before a meeting so they can be added to the agenda. You can then attend the meeting to present it.
