The majority of my time during April has been spent attending a number of vehicle crashes with attendance at two serious crashes on ANZAC Bridge. The main issue relayed to me from farmers in in the Eketahuna/Alfredton area is poachers so I have been conducting a number of patrols during my day and late shifts in the rural area and to date I haven’t come across any suspicious activity, but will keep up my patrols.

Joy celebrated her 100 years birthday on 27 March 2023 at Kandahar Court in Masterton. Joy lived in Eketāhuna for a number of years, meeting her 2nd husband, Maurice Parsons, through the Eketāhuna Golf Club.Joy volunteered at the Eke Op Shop, made jewellery, loved going to the Market days in the Wairarapa and selling Avon products.
