{"id":4532,"date":"2023-05-02T13:54:47","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T01:54:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eketahuna.co.nz\/?p=4532"},"modified":"2023-10-01T12:02:14","modified_gmt":"2023-10-01T00:02:14","slug":"coppers-corner-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eketahuna.co.nz\/?p=4532","title":{"rendered":"Copper\u2019s Corner"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The majority of my time during April has been spent attending a number of vehicle crashes with attendance at two serious crashes on ANZAC Bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1<sup>st<\/sup> accident was truck verses car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The car came off 2<sup>nd<\/sup> best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2<sup>nd<\/sup> was a head on resulting in serious injury to occupants of both vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I recently visited a number of farms in the Eketahuna\/Alfredton area with Steve Thomson who is the Wairarapa Police Chaplin and he\u2019s also part of the East Coast Rural Support Trust. I really enjoyed getting out and about and chatting to the farmers I came across.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main issue relayed to me is poachers so I have been conducting a number of patrols during my day and late shifts in the rural area and to date I haven\u2019t come across any suspicious activity, but will keep up my patrols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regards<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The majority of my time during April has been spent attending a number of vehicle crashes with attendance at two serious crashes on ANZAC Bridge.
