As previous newsletters have reported, Eket\u0101huna Community Radio Society Incorporated has
been re-registered. A new committee has now been formed – Larissa Barclay (chair) Margaret
Drysdale (secretary) Emma Elliott (treasurer). Colin Fraser-Davies remains as Patron.
The society welcomes all new members \u2013 to those of you who have already signed up and paid
your subs \u2013 thank you! We have exceeded the required 10 members.<\/p>\n\n\n

If there is anyone in the community that wants to get involved, please get into touch with one of
the committee members.
We are looking for anyone who wants to make content and contribute to new programmes.
Alternatively, come along to our monthly meeting \u2013 4th Thursday of the month \u2013 our May
meeting is Thursday 22 May 7pm at St. Johns Hall.
Radio Eket\u0101huna is playing music on 106.5fm and we are also streaming on
radioeketahuna.co.nz.
If you are a local business, please tune and play Radio Eket\u0101huna in your premises.
Finally, a MASSSIVE THANK YOU to a local benefactor who has offered to pay the
outstanding rent for the radio station. Phew! This gives us breathing space until November 2025
