We welcome enrolments to use our nurse-led services and will work with the medical centre or GP with whom you are registered. We have so much to offer from health consults including prescribing, monitoring cardiac and diabetic conditions, bloods, immunisations, children health and much more. We are a registered charity, part funded by Health New Zealand. Our mission is to provide services to promote a healthy community through affordable health services, community participation and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our clinic is open Monday \u2013 Thursday 9am \u2013 12pm, 2pm \u2013 4pm; Friday 9am -12pm, 1.30pm \u2013 2.45pm. When we are closed, call Healthline on 0800 611 116.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Many thanks to the members of the community who attended our AGM or put in their apologies. Megan from Te Kete Hauora o Rangitane provides health coaching and Jono from Think Hauora provides exercise programmes for those with long term health conditions. If you feel any of these services may be useful, please contact the nurses for a referral. Gym facilities are open during clinic hours for gold coin donation. Our apologies to users of the treadmill &#8211; we are trying to find a cost-effective solution to the broken belt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ryan, physiotherapist from Back in Action is at the health centre every Wednesday; go to <br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.getbackinaction.co.nz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>http:\/\/www.getbackinaction.co.nz<\/em> <\/a>to book this user pays service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The next Constituency Clinic with Mike Butterick is Tuesday 30 September 10am \u2013 1pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wairarapa Community Law Tuesday 7 October 1pm \u2013 3pm. Come and talk to Victoria Walker for legal advice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weekly Well-Being activities: Mondays Chair Yoga 9.45am at St. Cuthbert\u2019s Hall and Wednesdays Menz Shed (next to the health centre) from 9.30am.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community Garden working bee will be Thursday 16 October 10am \u2013 12noon. The excellent Eket\u0101huna Crop Swap is Sunday 19 October 10.30am. Please ensure you bring something garden related to swap.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our next monthly ladies\u2019 brunch will be on Monday 20 October at EHC. It follows a presentation by H\u0101to Hone St. John &#8211; The 3 Steps for Life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eket\u0101huna Food Bank can provide kai assistance to those living in Eket\u0101huna.
