These past few weeks at Eketāhuna School have been spectacular. We have done so much already this year!
Some of our House Leaders helped out at the Community Lunch at St Cuthbert’s Church a few weeks ago, and the money raised was kindly donated to the school.
More recently, all eight leaders harvested food from the community garden, then cooked it for the food bank with Chef Kate.

Our Year 2 and 3 students in Hamua explored and mapped our town and enjoyed a special treat at The Lazy Graze.
The whole school is having a BLAST learning skills and having fun on the school skateboards.
Our swimming sports were magnificent. We had many races and kids performed incredibly! We had team relays as well as the races. 1st place was Kikorangi getting 100 house points. Everyone did a marvellous job. We have also started our softball/t-ball tournament, which will be a truck-load of fun and we will take on the teachers in a game at the end of the term.
