Eketāhuna RSA

Our Anzac Day had a great turnout, and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of 10th Troop who turned out to enhance the day and an impressive turn out of residents.  So much appreciated.

This was a special year with the 10th Transport’s as it is the 30th Year of supporting our district in many different ways, such as :

  • Installation of the Cliff walk seat.
  • Army Uniform for Information Centre window.
  • Eke School display, equipment and Machinery.
  • Eke School gardens in drive way.
  • Cemetery fencing, headstones clean up.

At our recent AGM Roger and I ‘retired’, Roger as, he is now resident in Woodville and I, as I have been in the job too long and getting rusty and lackadaisical after hogging the job for some 25 years!!!

New President is Charlie Death and Secretary /Treasurer is Terry Carew.   We wish them both well in their positions
