Te Wānanga Taiao update 

Hammer and nail are working overtime as our wānanga continues to take shape and progress. 

Te Wānanga Taiao is an Environmental Education Centre and will be completed in October this year. 

Pūkaha is one of New Zealand’s best-equipped Outdoor Classrooms and a national treasure that can be nurtured and leveraged for the benefit of future generations and our environmental future.  The new Wānanga will be a stunning addition capable of accommodating school, community, and business groups of up to 40 people overnight.  A commercial kitchen and beautiful dining area will seat 100 people and be used as a lounge with log fire in the evenings. 

Soon we will be telling you how you can be involved with the project by making a lasting contribution.
