On 14 February a property on Newman Road was entered and a chainsaw and toolbox full of tools stolen.

Weather over the mid part of February resulted in a number of emergency service callouts.

Four Family Harm incidents were attended.

During February I have received complaints from adults about recent unwanted online posts and communications involving people within Eketāhuna. My immediate advice around this type of occurrence is; without an audience the activity and impact is minimised. Not reading and not responding to posts is a significant action that can be taken to reduce the effects of these events. Engaging can have a vacuum type effect where more and more people end up becoming involved. If posts are harmful, I invite you to make contact so that I can try and offer further advice and assistance.
