Many thanks to those who came or contributed to Eketāhuna Community Garden Working Bee in May. A great team effort of planting, weeding and preparing beds despite the rain. Wonderful to share soup and conversation with you all after.

Watch out for our next one this July.

July’s Ladies Brunch will be held Monday 18th June 11am St. Cuthberts Hall. Please bring a plate for shared kai.

Thank you to those who bought raffles tickets for a load for firewood. Your support is much appreciated.
Congratulations to the winner.

We have a Winter Warmers raffle starting with two hams, artwork by a local artist and beautiful handmade
blankets as prizes. Tickets are 3 for $5. Text Emma on 021 250 3015

Eketāhuna Food Bank
Our Food Bank service has a new phone number. Whilst emergency food parcels will continue to be available via Eketāhuna Health Centre and Eketāhuna Police. Please call 021 0347762 week days only if you need some assistance with kai.

Pataka Kai
Our wonderful pataka kai is for everyone to use and is stocked with food rescue items, community donations and garden produce. It relies on people to take only what they need and leave some for others. Please don’t be greedy.
We love it when people swap something they have for something they need.
