Eketāhuna Community Board September 2023 Meeting

A few items of note from our September meeting: It was agreed to support the RSA with $450 of funding to help with the cost of ANZAC Day And Remembrance Day Services. It was good to see from the Nireaha Domain Board that a new lease has been secured. They have also supported Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter, Eketāhuna Health Centre and Eketāhuna School with funding. Board Member Terry Carew attended the PowerCo meeting at the Eketāhuna Rugby Club and reported that PowerCo could possibly help with supplying a large generator for Eketāhuna. If anyone has any items they’d like to present please submit them in writing two weeks before a meeting so they can be added to the Agenda. You can then attend the meeting to present it.
