Our Weekly Well-Being activities are:

Mondays Chair Yoga 9.45am at St. Cuthberts Hall,
Wednesdays Menz Shed from 9.30am.
If you have registered and completed a gym form, you are welcome to use the gym during clinic hours.

Our next monthly ladies’ brunch is Monday 16 September 11am at the health centre. If you would like to attend, please contact Emma, our community coordinator, on 021 250 3015

The health centre provides space in the back lounge for various agencies:

Tuesday 3 Sept Wairarapa Law 1pm – 3pm drop-in free advice
Monday 9 Sept 10am – 3pm Mike Butterick Constituency Clinic
Tuesday 10 & 24 Sept there is a mental health support coach available; call the nurses at EHC for a referral.
Smoking cessation clinic is also 10 & 24 September.
Thursday 19 Sept Eketāhuna Community Garden working bee 10am -12pm. Come and join in whether you are a seasoned gardener or not.
Sunday 22 Sept Community Crop Swap 10.30am. Please ensure you bring something garden related to swap.

Tararua Community Services have notified the community that food packs will only be available to families using their service but cooked frozen meals may be available on request. The Eketāhuna Food Bank can provide kai assistance to those living in Eketāhuna. Two full food parcels per year may be available but further assistance will necessitate linking in with budgeting services via Tararua REAP.
Call or text Emma on 021 250 3015 to access our food bank service. Many people are feeling the pinch so please think of others when taking from the pataka kai.
