If anyone has any items’ they would like to present please submit them in writing two weeks before a meeting so they can be added to the agenda. You can then attend the meeting to present it.

Eketāhuna Community Board March 2025 Meeting

Nominations for the Alf Rowden Humanitarian Award are open from the 24th March and close on the 30th of April.
TDC is now consulting on the proposal for managing water services, titled ‘Local
Water Done Well’. The documents are at the library. The Mayor, some councillors
and members of the Executive Leadership Team will be available to explain about
the proposal in Eketāhuna at the following:
Eketāhuna War Memorial Hall, 9am-11am, Monday 24th March
Eketāhuna Community Centre, 7pm-8.30pm, Monday 31st March
Eketāhuna War Memorial Hall, 9am-11am, Tuesday 1st April.

We are planning to open the Time Capsule buried 25 years ago by the Eketāhuna
Community Board, details to follow.
The Community Centre piano has been repaired and tuned.
It’s great to see the Newman Road footpath being cleared by Corrections.
The upgraded red paintwork on the Pedestrian Crossing on Main Street looks fantastic!
It was awesome to attend and see the success of the ‘Across the Ages’ event with over 700 people attending. Huge credit to Denise Clifton and her team for organising this event.
