Greetings from Te Whare Ora o Eketahuna – Eketāhuna Health Centre! We are situated at 1 Bengston Street, Eketāhuna. We are a registered charity, part funded by Health New Zealand. If you are new to town, please pop in and enrol. Alternatively, you can call 06 375 8188.
Our clinic is open Monday – Thursday 9am – 12pm, 2pm – 4pm; Friday 9am -12pm, 1.30pm – 2.45pm. Eketāhuna Health Centre aims to provide services to promote a healthy community through affordable health services, community participation and education. When we are closed, call Healthline on 0800 611 116.
Flu vaccines continue be available; please book in with the nurses. Ask about your eligibility; it may be free.

Counselling is available on Mondays.
Megan from Te Kete Hauora o Rangitane will be here Tuesday 5th and 19th August providing health coaching.

If you feel either of these services may be useful, please contact the nurses for a referral.

Ryan, visiting physiotherapist from Back in Action is at the health centre every Wednesday; go to www.getbackinaction.co.nz to book this user pays service.

Laura from Plunket is at the health centre on Thursdays.
Gym facilities are open during clinic hours. We do require that you sign up to use these before you start but thereafter use at your convenience for gold coin donation. If you have a long-term condition, Jono, clinical exercise physiologist with Think Hauora, may be able to help.

We offer Weekly Well-Being activities:
Mondays Chair Yoga 9.45am at St. Cuthbert’s Hall and
Wednesdays Menz Shed (next to the health centre) from 9.30am.
Our next monthly ladies’ brunch will be on Monday 18 August 11am at St. Cuthbert’s Hall.

Next Community Garden working bee will be Thursday 21 August 10am – 12noon. Come and help get ready for Spring! The excellent Eketāhuna Crop Swap is Sunday 17 August 10.30am. Please ensure you bring something garden related to swap.
